The Girl Dressed in Chandelier

by Stephanie Alfaia
Please darling, let me
Trace your tat with my tongue.
Let me follow each dip
Each twirl into each swirl
Let it end in that curl…
That diamond that ends inside your heart?
Yes, I’d like to spend hours with your soul
And tear it apart.
I’ll peel you and strip you and take you away
To a universe from which
You’d never run away.
