The Bridge

by Stephanie Alfaia
Strong hands grasp thin air.
Life softly leaving weak limbs
while passion released vigor
into an unknown part of Circe.
Twisted bodies,
sweating energy,
blank minds,
pure intention:
to please.
The bridge between
his unwritten words and
her unspoken language.
Obstacles dissolving
with every moan,
Heaven ascending
through locked eyes.
Two in one,
dark no more,
questions answered
with every thrust.
