Remembering Moonchild

by Stephanie Alfaia

Out of touch

In tune
My mind is restless.
Feet tip-toeing slowly
Into oblivion: dark night.
Full moon, you are sleepless again,
Pulling my hair
Dragging me down
A crooked road.
“I see it all from above, darling.”
She whispers slyly.
“Come, let me guide you.”
