Warm water cascaded
down my bare back.
The moon in view, smiled.
She didn’t judge my sadness,
she embraced it.
Her halo, a cross.
Her features, soft,
gazing down the
nakedness of my anxiety.
The limbo of my limbs.
I dared not look away,
for the moon fed my spirit,
the memory of a moment.
You naturally eased into
a piece of my heart.
Simplicity gone complex,
when all I want to do
is revel under our stars.
On cleansing delusion
